I will say that as I complete the PDP I am encouraged by it. Putting goals and assesment of yourself on paper means more. I very rarely do this and am really quite glad I did. It's amazing how often the topics included in the PDP have come up in my work and personal life already.
When I first noticed that my team recieved the regulatory trend I was not exactly thrilled. But it has been interesting reseraching how law and regulations have evolved over time. I think it helps to confirm where trends are today more than anything.
At Columbus State we have to complete a professional development plan. It is certainly not near as compreshensive as this one. The Franklin PDP has helped me to filter my priorites at work. I beleive this will make me more effective for the foundation.
How do you define 'wisdom'?
Wisdom: Full understanding without resentment.

Reflections of Module 4 Concepts- GRAD 702
It was interesting to look at the creative process and the metaphor exercise. Now knowing each team members HBDI perfrence it's telling to see teammates reaction to the creative process. I think we worked really well together. The creative idea did take awhile to get moving though. Once, we came up with an idea everyone really started pitching in and adding their own twist.
I do consider myself a leader at this stage of my career. My leadership philosophy does not place any weight on a leader's power or professional status however. I often work with my colleagues to make everyone work to their own personal best. Whether I am managing them or not does not constitute a leader to me.
My meeting with my coach did not go so well. Unfortunatly, due to medical reasons I am now looking for another coach.
I enjoyed the competency card slot exercise. I do not often take the time to self-examine and it was nice to be "forced" to.
